'Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD, is a digestive disorder that affects the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), the ring of muscle between the esophagus and stomach. Many people, including pregnant women, suffer from heartburn or acid indigestion caused by GERD

Can somebody recommend me a vitamin b12 supplement that doesn’t cause reflux?

Can somebody recommend me a vitamin b12 supplement that doesn’t cause reflux? I have these but they seem to trigger reflux.

I get a shot from my doctor.

I wouldn’t take anything flavored or chewable or dissolving. Tablet would be safer for reflux probably

I can’t recommend a particular one but NFH makes a lot of vitamin and mineral supplements and many of them are made so they are more easily absorbed - so less issues with stomach. Not sure if they have B12 but I wouldn’t be surprised if they did.

I use sublingual drops of B12

can't recommend one but try to find one that is coated so it will not bother your stomach

Superior Source makes a lot of microlingual supplements I've had great luck with them

I tried pills, liquids, sublingual. None of them made any difference. Was throwing my money away. The Drs Nurse offered to give me shots and then how to do the shots. So I inject b12 now once every 3 weeks. It makes a dramatic difference spiking me off the high end which I want and back down to the low by 3 weeks. IMO B12 supplements in my experience are a waste of money.

I used to do monthly B IM shots until I started with the Super B's.

If it works for you go for it. I tried them, they would raise my b12 by 100, but wouldnt lift me high enough. which is the same with quality sub lingual drops. I would try to time my injections and start the drops about 1 week in. in the end i gave up that as b12 serum is free here and Dr sneaks me the needles and all i pay is the $1 syringes. 3 weekly. Does the job and is easier I find that pill or drops. Then again my thyroid is heavily resistant conversion of t4to t3, lots of rt3.
