Does anyone else constantly feel as if there is liquid at the base of your throat ?

Does anyone else constantly feel as if there is liquid at the base of your throat ? It with me constantly but not burning, it just feels like it’s sitting there. If I go a run it starts to move up more and burn. I’ve had reflux issues since I was a teenager but seems to be more symptoms lately.
Thanks

Even lying in bed if I move to the other side I feel it moving up and down.

Eileen Bowdin
You should avoid lying on right side and sleep with wedge pillow or head of bed raised 6”

Paul Phoenix
You mean avoid lying on the right ?
I always sleep on my left because of that info but whilst sleeping I might turn a little.
Also if I’m lying on my back right before I fall asleep I turn onto my left side and feel the liquid.
Thanks for sharing it.

Eileen Bowdin
Paul Phoenix yes of course. Oops! I’ve just edited that sorry.
Do you use wedge pillow and stop eating 3-4 hours before sleep?

Paul Phoenix
I’m bad regarding the eating late, I sometimes eat at 9 ish but I go to bed at 12 those nights...
I seem to get issues with eating and then slouching on a sofa too fast afterwards.
I’ve had strange bouts of pain and bloating in my upper stomach on and off for months too... I think I’ve got that under control.
I am now taking a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar each day... I think it’s helping.

Eileen Bowdin
Paul Phoenix some people are concerned it would damage the osephagus on the way down. Would be worth diluting it at least if it doesn’t bother you or if it helps.
Also it helps if I don’t drink at all with meals (or a tiny bit if really necessary) to reduce the volume in my stomach. I wait to drink an hour after. A hassle but does help

Paul Phoenix
Eileen Bowdin oh I absolutely dilute the apple cider vinegar as it’s disgusting lol !
I also add some honey

Paul Phoenix
My dad has that too, I’m thinking I’ve developed it.

Jennifer L Faller

Paul Phoenix

Jennifer L Faller

Yes! I did a Gerd diet for over a month. I’m Better now. Also drank George’s Aloe water, took probiotic, mastic gum, drank filtered water with tad of baking soda to make alkaline. Chewed lots of celery. Chewed all my food excessively. Sprinkled ginger on my food. Now, I still avoid real acidic foods, drink plenty of filtered water, but only continue with probiotic and I still over chew to be safe. Don’t eat late either. Hope this helps!
